From the Kilts of Scotland to the Kangaroos of Australia

In the Salt Lake Family History Journal our friends and Zone Leader of the British Isles floor wrote of the vast amount of records

"From the Kilts of Scotland to the Kangaroos of Australia" (two of our missions!).
Also included was the Emerald Isle, which we hope to cover during this mission

and also to London which isn't part of our mission but we hope to visit before we return to the States next year.
Serving a mission isn't just about tourism, though our blog may make you think that's all we do. We are here as ambassadors of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Our mission is to invite all to come unto Christ.

My favorite scripture is in the Book of Mormon: 2 Nephi 25:26 "We talk of Christ, we rejoice in Christ, we preach of Christ, we prophesy of Christ and we write according to our prophecies, that our children may know to what source they may look for a remission of their sins."

We are Christians and believe that Jesus Christ, the only begotten son of God the Father, did live and atone for our sins, if we will but come unto Him and follow Him, and keep His Commandments.

That He did suffer in Gethsemane and on the cross and 3 days after His death he rose again - resurrected with His spirit and body forever reunited, never to be separated again.

He has paved the way so that we too will be resurrected and live again after this life. This is our message of great joy, this is the glad tidings that we share, this is why young and old men and women devote 18-24 months of their lives to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with others and invite them to come unto Christ.
