Happy Thanksgiving Feast

Traditional turkey favors were made to decorate the tables and to provide a treat to take home.

Young and Senior Missionaries from Scotland gathered together at the Mission Home to celebrate Thanksgiving Dinner.

The Senior Couples brought plenty of food to share and the young missionaries inhaled the food gleefully.

In America we traditionally think of the early pilgrims who gave thanks for their neighbors the (Indians - native Americans)

who helped them from starving and for the abundance of food from their harvest that year.

We also traditionally think of all of the many blessings we have received throughout years and family and the Gospel of Jesus Christ comes first to mind.

Thanksgiving isn't celebrated in Scotland but 36 of us (a mixture of American, English, Canadian, Chinese, and Scottish) joined together to feast and give thanks to the Lord for this opportunity to serve on a mission.

Family - we lived as families before we came to this earth and we will live as families after this earth life. The greatest blessings of existence is families. We thank our family for their love and support, especially while we are away from them. We know they will continue to live honorable lives and to cherish their families.
